Welcome |
|
Writing last week’s Britain Insider column on the cathedral cities of Chichester, Salisbury and Winchester, reminded me of their potential for 2-3-night, driver guided pre or post cruise extensions. When you add Stonehenge, the Cotswolds, the great heritage cities of Bath, Stratford upon Avon and Oxford, the little grey cells start buzzing.
After Thanksgiving, I’ll be sending you ideas for Dover and Harwich arrivals/departures but in the meantime, start thinking about how these imaginative suggestions can match the interests of clients who are looking for more than a fast transfer between London and Southampton.

The final night is in London. |

With Bath having so much to offer, this three-night programme reveals Roman and Georgian life in the city and visits nearby Glastonbury Abbey where the costumed guides bring history vividly to life. We’ve allowed some free time for shopping/independent sightseeing and have added some interesting visits on the way to London for the final night. |
