I very much appreciate the enthusiastic response to last week's focus on ten unusual and quirky London attractions. The list included the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, the Handel House and the Hendrix flat (which my wife Jenny shared with three other girls before they moved out and he then bought it), Benjamin Franklin's House near Trafalgar Square, six centuries of gardening history at the Garden Museum and two grand houses that are not in many, if any tour operators programmes. If you missed it, please use the left hand Read More.
Given that level of interest, I've come up with ten more less well-known, unusual and quirky attractions that will give you something special to offer clients who've been to London before and families looking for places that will appeal to their kids. They include some very good ideas for a Girls Getaway to London, the world's finest collection of decorative fans, peace and tranquillity in the Apothecaries Garden, an operating theatre in the pre-anaesthetic's era and the UK's oldest Toy Museum. |
