James Herriot, A Malt Whisky Festival and the Chester Mystery Plays |
From time to time, an unexpected sales opportunity pops up on the radar and that's exactly what's about to happen with this Sunday's 9pm launch of series 3 of 'All Creatures Great and Small' on Masterpiece. Read my top story, review the video and think very seriously about how you can use the next seven weeks to create a fiction into reality springtime/summer tour for two or four clients you know are fans! You may be one yourself which brings forward the possibility of a small group of eight to ten… Let's explore the possibilities.
There's great potential in my second story especially among clients who might like to use one of Britain's top literary festivals as the inspiration for a UK tour topped and tailed with On Location visits linked to Inspector Morse (Oxford), Father Brown (Cotswolds) and Bridgerton (Bath). Similarly, a day or two at the Speyside Whisky Festival could play a central role in an imaginative springtime tour of Scotland.
Finally, because they're staged once every five years, attending the Chester Mystery Plays might appeal to clients planning a UK tour in late June/early July. |
