This week, I'm inviting you to take a closer look at the prestigious colleges, ornate buildings and winding lanes, in the university city of Oxford and the villages and market towns in the neighbouring Oxfordshire Cotswolds.
Just one hour northwest of London Heathrow, it is the ideal place to park your jetlag before heading further into the English countryside or for a few action-packed days in London. Being ninety minutes from Southampton (or a bit longer if you slip in a visit to Stonehenge or Downton Abbey on the way), for clients who have been to England before, it works really well as a two- or three-night pre or post cruise extension.
