As Britain-bound travel gathers pace, I'm enjoying several email 'conversations' with travel advisors with a wide variety of different interests. One of them is with Atlanta-based, Barbara Fishman, BSc, CTA, Independent Affiliate of Travel Experts, Inc (and longstanding family friend) and in one of her messages, this sentence fired my imagination for a bright idea for families visiting the UK.
"Your itineraries are what keep me in the biz and excited each time I read and think …hummmmm, who could I send here? I just did a little work for the owners of a high-end boutique store, and they have a 6-year-old daughter. Hummmmm"
At this age, when we were on holiday with our daughter Emma, my wife and I would design each day with things for her to enjoy in the morning and after lunch (picnic, pub, or pizza) something more geared to what us older folk would enjoy. As a result,we always seemed to enjoy her stuff and she enjoyed ours!! So, with that in the back if my mind, I drafted an imaginative, driver guided programme for her customers. Use the Read More link and as you review it, think of a family who might say "YES PLEASE" to this conversation-starting suggestion. |
