As many of your anglophile customers won't have been able to get to Britain for the past two years, to help you to encourage some of them to cross the pond this summer, recent editions of my Inside Track have been highlighting a rich and varied selection of bright ideas which could strike very big chord with some of them.
Two weeks ago, I showcased some On Location ideas that bring together Bridgerton, Sherlock Holmes and Downton Abbey. Last week it was the turn of the International Beatles Week in Liverpool, the Gilbert and Sullivan Festivals in Buxton and Harrogate and the Magic Millions Festival of Eventing at the Princess Royal's home at Gatcombe Park.
This week's early September offering includes a Viking Festival, the Braemar Gathering in Royal Deeside and a Malt Whisky Festival. All three are in Scotland. For enthusiastic shoppers, there's an antiques fair and London markets programme and for those who missed the Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows, there's an impressive floral extravaganza at the award-winning Newby Hall in Yorkshire. All will be revealed in the Read More.
And there's more where that came from next week! |
