With the kids back at school, college and university, September is a very good month for UK tours. To help you to develop some late summer business, last week I highlighted the internationally renowned Flower Show at the Royal Horticultural Society’s flagship garden at Wisley, a delicious food festival in Ludlow Castle on the England/Wales border and the Jane Austen and Agatha Christie Literary Festivals.
Peering further into September, my imagination has been fired by another literary festival in Cornwall, close to locations used for the filming of Doc Martin and Poldark and a second food festival, this time in the Viking city of York. Both offer great potential for seven-night itineraries which I’d like to send you because they will interest independent travellers keen to make a return visit to their old friend Britain.
I know you’re very busy but please try to find a few moments to turn your imagination loose and use this Read More for a closer look at both of them. Then ask me for a copy of the itinerary that’s caught your eye. |
